The short version
Your child’s data is private. We will never sell it. We will never share it with schools, insurers, or any third party without your explicit action. We don’t run advertising trackers. You can export or delete everything at any time.
What we collect
We collect the information you give us: your account details (name, email), and the data you choose to add about your child — documents, IEP goals, behavior logs, providers, insurance details, and communications. We collect basic, privacy-friendly usage analytics to improve the app, with no advertising or cross-site tracking.
How we use it
We use your data only to provide the service: to store and organize your information, send you the reminders and notifications you’ve enabled, and power features like the AI assistant. We never use your documents or AI conversations to train external models, and we don’t log their contents to our application logs.
How we protect it
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Document links are signed and time-limited — never publicly guessable. Access is restricted so that only you can see your family’s data. We follow HIPAA-aware best practices, though we are not a covered entity.
Your rights
You can export all of your data at any time, and you can delete your account and all associated data whenever you choose. If you cancel, you retain read-only access for 90 days so you never lose what you’ve built. After prolonged inactivity, we’ll email you before deleting anything.
Third parties
We use trusted service providers to operate the app (for payments, email delivery, and AI features). They process data only as needed to provide their service and are bound by their own data-protection obligations. We never sell your data to anyone, for any reason.
